Walnut Alumnae Playing at the NCVF Championships!!

Congratulations to Walnut Volleyball alumnae Meredith Shaw, Tia Krimmer, and Christasia Strader who participated in this past week's NCVF National Championship tournament. Meredith Shaw and the Ohio State Women's Volleyball Club B team went undefeated through two days of the tournament before coming up one match short of defending their national title in the championship match, finishing 3rd out of 48 B teams from across the country. Meredith was also named to the All-Tournament team for her performance during the week. Tia Krimmer and the University of Cincinnati Women's Volleyball Club notched wins over Marquette U. (seeded #17), U. of Oregon (finished #27), and Boston U. (seeded #23), and lost close 3 set matches against U. of North Carolina and Clemson U. (seeded #7 and #8) on their way to a 35th place finish out of 144 Division I teams. Christasia Strader and the Northwestern U. Women's Volleyball Club went 6-4 finishing with a strong 4 match winning streak to claim the Bronze Championship in Division IAAA. It was great to see our Walnut alumnae continuing their volleyball careers and achieving success at the next level!!
